You must be at least 25 years of age or older to apply for adoption. No exceptions.

Paws2Adopt Rescue may take up to 1-2 weeks to review your application, before getting in contact about the rescue pet. Please allow our team time to review all applications and get back with you shortly.

If your application is missing any important information, you may not receive any notice or follow-up. Please be sure to complete the Adoption Application to the fullest capacity when applying. The information requested from Paws2Adopt Rescue is required to complete, prior to adoption or consideration for adoption.

If your application is approved in the initial review, Paws2Adopt Rescue will contact your listed vet and ask a few questions. To expedite this process, please contact your vet prior to applying to prepare them for our inquiry.

Please understand that every vet’s schedule varies and contacting your vet may take up to (2) weeks to confirm your application.

After the vet has been confirmed, Paws2Adopt Rescue will contact your to conduct a Home Visit, in preparation for your rescue pet’s arrival. We want to ensure the pet’s safety before introducing the rescue pet to your home. The Home Visit MUST meet all requirements to be approved for adoption.
