The Mission for Paws2Adopt Rescue is to provide a safe environment for rehabilitated dogs and cats and to help these animals find their “furrever” homes. Local shelters in the North Texas area are overcrowded and in some cases closed, due to a lack of funding and too many animals coming in for help. Paws2Adopt Rescue not only provides a safe and familiar environment for animals to thrive, but connects loving families to adopt them. Fostering animals in a familiar home environment increases the chances for them to be adopted. They gain valuable social skills by learning to live with other family members and pets, so when they are ready for their new home, the transition is smooth! Animals who remain in shelters are subjected to lives in cages and minimal human or animal interactions; this makes it harder for the animal to love, trust and feel normal.
