Want to Become a Foster Pet Parent?

Would you be interested in joining our Foster Parent List? Make a difference in a rescue pet’s life by providing a safe, comfortable environment for your rescue pet to feel a sense of “normal”, before they are adopted! Rescue Pets in Foster Care Programs have a 85% higher chance of getting adopted versus being in a shelter. The Foster Care Program allows rescue pets to get adjusted to a comfortable family life with other dogs, cats, kids or adults - which gives them all of the training they need for being the best pet ever! Join the Foster Parent Program Below.

FOSTERING MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE

  • Dogs & Cats that can remain in a foster home versus a shelter allow the animal to build important socialization skills for entering their new home. Getting Rescue Pets used to spending time with people, other pets and children can make a BIG difference in their adoption progress.

  • Not only can you help a Rescue Pet build good habits for a home, but socializing your Rescue Pet (especially dogs) can actually introduce or reinforce good habits by learning from each other. Dogs are pack animals - if you have a Good Boy or Girl at home, they can teach good habits to Rescue Pets too!

  • Shelters are incredibly overcrowded - which is a big reason why Paws2Adopt Rescue makes an effort to create a comfortable, safe space for Rescue Pets to thrive or relax. Fostering in a safe space can allow the Rescue Pet to build confidence in a comfortable environment - which makes adoption a breeze when it comes time to entering a new home!
